Does Jeremy Hoops research (suggesting the Richard's manuscript is the earliest copy of D&C 132 that we have) substantively challenge section 132's references to polygamy?
You know the phrase “there are Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics”? One day I the thought hit me “there are Liars, Damned Liars, and Polygamy Deniers” haha
aha - I should really apply more humor to my podcast. haha That's a great one-liner. I saw a meme that I loved today. It said "Did Joseph Smith really live plural marriage like the 60+ first-hand witnesses claim?" and then a new frame adds "No. They're all LIARS!" That about sums up the movement in my estimation. If you can't win with facts, resort to character assassination.
