Are there any significant changes in the 1837 version of the Book of Mormon that got left put in 1840 and subsequent editions? My understanding is that the Church continued to use the 1840 edition going forward, and I wonder if anything substantial happened in the 1837 edition that may be helpful, interesting, or worth considering
There are a number of 1837 changes that were not included in 1840. However, the church uses genealogy from the 1837 version not the 1840 version so what they are missing or the changes to Joseph made in 1840.

Yeah - I wonder why no one has produced a version incorporating all of his changes … none of the 1840 changes are controversial to my knowledge.
